The Project Manager - LATAM/America is responsible for taking ownership of large and complex projects and take the execution lead and responsibility from the contract hand over from Applications to Execution until final sign of the project. Make sure the projects are delivered in accordance with specification, on time and within budget. Work with management to prepare financial reports and be responsible for delivering revenue targets. Apply DBS tools to improve processes and solutions in the Project Management Team

This position reports to the Project Management Team Leader (Americas) and is part of the Industrial / F&B located in Diadema, SP, Brazil and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate and execute all scheduling activities included in the projects of the BU under your management
• Acting as project manager/ project sponsor for complex, large scale projects that can be executed across Americas
• Taking ownership for key commercial / execution KPIs. Consult the Sales and Execution organization on critical contract execution issues. Mitigate Risk and resolve critical discussions with internal and external stakeholders
• Cross-departmental coordination with all other departments as well as teams involved, in particular to the F&B service organization
• Work in a multinational and interdisciplinary team. Travel on need basis to project sites.
• Communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level. Pall internal as well as with the customer

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Chemical, Food, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or other related.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large-scale project management within the beverage and food industry.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment and systems, as well as unit operations in industrial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Navisworks (viewers). Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, within Brazil and across the Americas (South, Central and North)
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Beer and beverage industry.
