The Quality Control Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing laboratory testing, ensuring compliance with quality specifications and regulatory standards, enabling the release of safe and high-quality products, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This position reports to the Manager Value Stream Quality Control and is part of the Cytiva Medemblik Operations Department located in Medemblik, the Netherlands and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Perform routine and non-routine QC laboratory testing according to the relevant instructions and report the test results and deviations accurately and in a timely manner
• Operate the laboratory instruments and maintain the laboratory
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and safety regulations
• Support method development, validation, and continuous improvement activities
• Assist other parts of the department/organisation when necessary

Who you are:

• Have a HBO working and thinking level
• Have at least basic knowledge of MS Office and e-mail etiquette and comfortable working with digital tools
• Have a good command of the English language, both oral and written

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• A laboratory setting
• GMP and international standards
