Our global cybersecurity group—Danaher Information Security (DIS)—is expanding into Europe.  This strategic growth includes the launch of a 24/7 cybersecurity capability in Kraków, enabling global coverage and operational resilience across our enterprise through continuous improvement.

Positioned within the Kraków technology delivery centre, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering and operations team dedicated to defending Danaher’s businesses.  You’ll engage in deploying leading security technologies, responding to threats in real time, and shaping the future of our cybersecurity posture.

The Senior Automation Developer is a new position that will play a pivotal role in design, implementation, and evolution of Danaher enterprise-wide cybersecurity orchestration and automation solutions.

This position is within the Danaher Corporate Information Security team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Cyber Threat Engineering. This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Krakow.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Deliver Operational Priorities – Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise cybersecurity orchestration and automation.

• Drive Operational Excellence and Scalability – Define and implement modular, resilient, and maintainable automation solutions that improve speed and consistency of cybersecurity event response and investigation.

• Design for Supportability – Research and lead continuous architectural, configuration, and monitoring improvements. Design and build architecture artifacts describing system High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) and maintain existing artifacts.

• Collaborate for Success – Partner with engineering and infrastructure peers across Danaher and all operating companies to design and expand automation use cases. Serve as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting and issue resolution.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 7+ years of experience deploying, managing, and maintaining enterprise SIEM solutions.

• Demonstrated experience developing solutions on SOAR platforms including but not limited to Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel SOAR.

• Demonstrated programming and scripting expertise including but not limited to Python, PowerShell

• Experience developing API integrations with common enterprise technologies and leveraging several API authentication methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud service providers including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience translating business requirements into solution requirements.

• Experience preparing and maintaining architecture documentation, requirements repositories, software design diagrams, release notes and formal reports.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Previous security operations or incident response experience.

• Experience administering enterprise security platforms  deployed on Windows, Linux, UNIX operating systems or containerized environments.
