Job Description

Serve as the key contact for Innovation (OI) initiatives, managing the entire OI funnel, with a primary focus on Companion Diagnostics (CDx) projects. This role involves prioritizing opportunities based on strategic fit and potential impact, analyzing their financial implications, and tracking execution to ensure successful project implementation. Collaborates with various departments, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, Quality Control, Supply Chain Management, and Service, to drive seamless integration and commercialization of OI projects, with significant emphasis on CDx projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
OI Business Opportunity Management and Execution

  • Lead the process of opportunity collection, partner negotiation of terms, and contractual agreements.
  • Drive commercial execution with sales, channel, marketing, and external partners to deliver revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead engagements focused on in-/out-licenses, IP options, and technology transfers to ensure successful handoff to internal teams.

CDx OI Projects Management

  • Utilize extensive regulatory affairs experience to ensure timely registration and high success rates for CDx products.
  • Drive engagement with pharmaceutical companies to promote CDx solutions, ensuring successful project wins and market penetration.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with CDx projects, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and maintain effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead and facilitate multiple-party meetings involving pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies (CMDE, CDE), to drive project alignment and decision-making.
  • Lead discussions and negotiations with pharmaceutical companies and regulatory bodies during four-party meetings, fostering collaboration and consensus.
  • Drive initiatives to engage pharmaceutical partners, promoting CDx products and services to achieve business goals.
