The Senior Network Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the Network IT infrastructure in Radiometer and associated OpCo’s.

This position reports to the Director of IT operations and is part of the IT infrastructure & cloud department located in Copenhagen and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design & Strategy – Shape secure, scalable network architectures aligned with business goals.
• Innovation & Automate – Lead adoption of new network technologies and ensure automation.
• Operate, Optimization & Secure – Build and drive network operations ensuring stability, performance, security, and compliance.

You will be working with:

• Network Design and Architecture:
  • Design and plan network infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and align with strategic goals.
  • Develop detailed network architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Technology Evaluation and Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation and integration of new network technologies into the existing infrastructure.
  • Ensure seamless integration of network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems, mainly Cisco.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze current network performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance network scalability, efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Design network solutions with a strong focus on security and compliance.
  • Ensure network designs comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on network performance, projects, and enhancements.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with IT teams, including network engineers, server specialists, security analysts, and support staff, to ensure cohesive network operations.
  • 3rd level network support, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Technical education in computer science or equivalent.
• +10 Years experience from working with IT networking and minimum 5 years as network architect.
• Expert technical level in IT networking. Design, implement, troubleshoot, resolve root causes.
• Language requirements: English fluently in speech and writing.

Travel Requirements:

• Radiometer is a global organization with more than 60+ production and sales sites all over the world. The role requires the ability to travel globally, up to 20 days per year.

It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:

• Language skills: Fluent Danish
• Experience working with both Office IT and Production IT.
• Experience from working in an international organization.
• Experience working in a Meditech or Pharma company
