As a Sr Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and supporting scalable data pipelines and integrations across the Cephied Data Platform. This position focuses on enabling real-time and batch data ingestion, curation, and quality processes using Snowflake, Airflow, Matillion, Azure ADF, and other modern data engineering tools.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Snowflake data pipelines including stored procedures, file loads, and curated datasets.
• Implement data ingestion solutions from SAP, Salesforce, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Pardot APIs, and other sources using Fivetran, Matillion, and Azure ADF.
• Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow to ensure efficient scheduling, monitoring, and automation of ETL/ELT jobs. Build Git CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through validation, monitoring, and automated checks.
• Mentor junior engineers, create documentation/run-books, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with DBS principles.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Scala, or similar scripting languages, with proven experience in building pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, and real-time streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Matillion, Azure ADF, AWS Glue, Lambda) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and ability to design/document large-scale distributed systems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with Vector Database  and Graph Databases like Neo4j or others.
• Experience with Analytics using Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
