Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.

We are seeking a Staff Engineer, DevOps to lead CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevSecOps practices across Windows and Linux environments. This role emphasizes build, test, release, and deployment automation, while also managing VMs, off-the-shelf (OTS) tools, and license/vendor oversight. • Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines with automated SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning, compliance checks, and implement deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and rollback for reliability
  • Configure, patch, and maintain infrastructure including AWS EC2, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, and Linux environments, with infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Manage version control, branching strategies, and artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus, AWS Code Artifact), along with vendor software tools, license tracking, renewals, procurement, and regulatory validation documentation
  • Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus, ensuring pipeline security and compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, and HIPAA requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of Software Engineering experience including 6+ years in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI
  • Advanced scripting and programming experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
  • Administration of Windows Server and Linux operating environments with demonstrated expertise in AWS EC2, VMware, and Hyper-V virtual machine management
  • Implementation of DevSecOps practices including integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines and validation of off-the-shelf software with license tracking

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer, or CKA.
  • Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, healthcare, biotech).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST security frameworks.

Join our winning team today. Together, we’ll accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow’s science and technology. We partner with customers across the globe to help them solve their most complex challenges, architecting solutions that bring the power of science to life.
