The Trade Compliance Analyst II position for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a critical role to ensure the company’s imports and exports are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulatory requirements of Customs authorities and other applicable governmental agencies. This role acts as a primary point of contact for inquiries and escalations from Beckman Coulter Diagnostics’ sites and other stakeholder groups.

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to direct, assist with, and participate in, the following activities in support of our Trade Compliance Program:

  • Develop and implement import and export processes, including broker management oversight, KPI tracking, and QBR preparation to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Coordinate and prepare export license applications and permits, including end-user screenings, Letters of Indemnity, and submissions to authorities such as BAFA, CITES, and USDA.

  • Manage trade data classification, country of origin, valuation, and recordkeeping to ensure accurate and timely customs clearance in accordance with applicable regulations.

  • Conduct post-entry reviews, self-testing audits, and support government audit activities as required.

  • Support Daily Management, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to standard work development and DBS maturity.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of direct experience in import and export operations roles.

  • Strong working knowledge and interpretation of European import and export regulations and related operations.

  • Fluent in German and English. Candidates that also speak Dutch are strongly preferred.

  • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Understanding of global supply chain and logistics processes.
