The Vice President of Operations, Asia and Micro Electronics is responsible for manufacturing operations in Asia for all Pall business units and global manufacturing operations for Pall’s Micro Electronics business unit. The Vice President of Operations defines the overall operations strategy, structure, and processes to ensure customer requirements are met for assigned business units.

This position is part of the Global Operations Organization and will be based in Singapore.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the manufacturing objectives align with sales and shipment goals, for both short-term and long-term agreements with customers, to assure capacity, labor and technology are in place to support all requirements.
• Promoting and deploying Danaher Business Systems (DBS) to achieve break-through performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Actively manage a DBS kaizen funnel to provide visibility of events, focus on gap closure, and sustainment.
• Ensuring inventory and shipping/receiving functions at manufacturing plants are operating at levels that meet customers' needs and established financial benchmarks as well as formulating and recommending manufacturing policies and programs which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
• Directing activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives with optimum labor, and least amount of overhead and raw material costs.
• Overseeing operations budgets for assigned areas to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements. Including providing accurate forecasts to finance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• 15 years' experience of diversified manufacturing management experience in a manufacturing environment working in Multinational Company with a Matrix organization.  
• Experience with successful implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Knowledge of the Global Marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation
• processes or related discipline.
