The Data Analyst, Sensory and Consumer Experience role at PepsiCo's Hyderabad ICC supports the Experience Consumer Research team. This position focuses on delivering high-quality data analysis for sensory and consumer studies, ensuring projects are completed on-time, in-full, and on-budget. You'll collaborate with program leads, programmers, and reporters across EMESA, APAC, and IB regions, leveraging cutting-edge tools like EyeQuestion, Harmoni, and XLStat. Ideal for analytical minds with a passion for consumer behavior, this role offers exposure to global projects in the dynamic food and beverage sector.
Expect to work with EyeQuestion for analysis programs, Harmoni for reporting, XLStat for statistics, PowerBI for visualization, LabVantage for lab management, and O365 for seamless collaboration. Statistical expertise in ANOVA, paired T-Test, Tukey’s HSD, Cochran’s Q test, and mean drop penalty analysis is essential.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in the consumer research lifecycle. Responsibilities include working closely with key program leads and programmers to analyze study results using global SOPs from EXP Consumer Research Transformation and Data Science & Analytics. You'll assess data quality, identify consumer outliers, and generate summary tables for reporters. Sharing outcomes with Program Managers and providing revisions as needed ensures precision. Additionally, partner to innovate processes for efficiency, all while maintaining transparency in Microsoft Teams and O365 tools. Coordinate with international teams to develop clear project plans with robust quality controls.
Candidates need a BS in a relevant field such as Data Science, Sensory Science, or Statistics, coupled with 5-6 years of experience in quantitative consumer research designs and systems. Proficiency in statistical analysis programs is required, along with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights. Strong communication skills in English—both oral and written—are crucial for internal and external interactions. You'll demonstrate time management across multiple priorities, rapid learning of applications, high ownership, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience with EyeQuestion, PowerBI, XLStat, Harmoni, LabVantage, and O365 is highly preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of EyeQuestion Analysis, Harmoni reporting, XLStat, and PowerBI. Familiarity with global SOPs for data science in consumer research.
