The Data Analyst, Sensory and Consumer Experience role in Hyderabad, Telangana, supports the Experience Consumer Research team at PepsiCo's ICC. This position focuses on delivering exceptional data analysis for sensory and consumer studies, ensuring projects are completed on-time, in-full, and on-budget. You'll collaborate with program leads, programmers, and reporters across regions to analyze complex datasets, apply statistical rigor, and generate insights that shape PepsiCo's product innovations. Proficiency in EyeQuestion for analysis programs, Harmoni for reporting, XLStat for statistics, PowerBI for visualization, LabVantage for lab management, and O365 for collaboration is essential. You'll navigate these systems seamlessly to distill complex data into actionable summaries.
In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality data outputs. Responsibilities include analyzing results from consumer research studies using global EXP Consumer Research Transformation SOPs and Data Science & Analytics best practices. You'll generate result summary tables for reporters, apply appropriate statistical procedures such as ANOVA, paired T-Test, Tukey’s HSD, Cochran’s Q test, and mean drop penalty analysis. Data quality assessment via SOPs, outlier identification, and sharing outcomes with Program Managers and Reporters are core tasks. Expect to provide revisions, partner on efficiency improvements, and communicate transparently via Microsoft Teams.
Candidates need a BS in a relevant scientific discipline like Data Science, Sensory Science, or Statistics, with 5-6 years of experience in quantitative consumer research designs and systems. Strong working knowledge of statistical analysis programs is required, alongside the ability to interpret complex data into useful information. Technical skills in EyeQuestion, PowerBI, XLStat, Harmoni, LabVantage, and O365 are mandatory, with a knack for rapidly learning new applications. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, time management across multiple priorities, high ownership, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail complete the profile. Minimal supervision is expected for assigned tasks.
