Role Overview

As a Data Reliability Engineer in our Production Systems team in Bangalore, India, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across our high-volume cybersecurity operations. You'll build solutions to correlate data from diverse sources, leveraging automation for efficiency and integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve discrepancies between data sources, using automation tooling to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
• Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data seamlessly between systems while maintaining quality.
• Develop automated quality checks and monitoring for financial data consistency and compliance.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines aggregating data from relational databases, APIs, and more.
• Create Python scripts with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy for manipulation, transformation, and analysis.
• Develop validation frameworks using Python testing libraries and apply accounting principles for financial analytics.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need 3+ years of experience with fixed asset management systems, including asset tracking, depreciation, and financial reconciliation. Strong ETL expertise, advanced Python skills in data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, Airflow), and proficiency with Jira's REST API are essential. You'll also bring advanced Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables, VBA, Power Query), schema design, SQL optimization for MySQL or Postgres, and a solid grasp of accounting principles.

Soft skills are equally critical: meticulous attention to detail, self-learning in a fast-paced setting, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate across distributed global teams in multiple time zones. Bonus points for GAAP/IFRS knowledge, compliance frameworks like SOX/SOC2/FEDRAMP, large-scale production environments, data center infrastructure, or process governance.
