In this mid-level role, you'll dive into the heart of employment law assistance and compliance. You'll guide local management and HR on critical issues like employee relations, terminations, European working time directives, benefits, litigation, and negotiated exits. Duties

  • Employment law assistance and compliance

You will work closely with different stakeholders to provide daily advice on employment laws and regulations in order to answer a variety of queries. You will draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks and any other document in order to be compliant with local employment laws. In addition, you will provide counsel to local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues including: employee relations; discipline and terminations; European working time compliance; benefits, employment litigation; negotiated exits and settlements.
Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential).

  • Specialist knowledge of Spanish employment law.

  • You are fluent in English, Spanish and/or Catalan

  • You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally.

  • You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • You have good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Your CV must be submitted in English
