In this mid-level role within G&A (Legal Counsel), you'll draft and review critical contracts from services agreements to employment contracts, provide expert advice to customers and employees, and deliver business-oriented legal solutions. As the go-to expert for all Australian matters and contributor to Australia/New Zealand projects, you'll collaborate with dynamic teams across 100+ countries, speaking 74 languages. Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review contracts ranging from services agreements to employment contracts
Provide relevant advice to customers and employees where appropriate
Work closely with business colleagues to provide legal solutions that are business-oriented
Collaborate with legal colleagues in preparing templates, guides, playbooks, processes and/or manuals
Being the point of contact for any Australian related matters the company is involved in
Work across various Australia/New Zealand related projects
Key Requirements:
Must be geographically based in Australia
Qualified to practice in Australia
3-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential), a strong background in cross border employment law matters is ideal
You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally
You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
You have good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
You are fluent in English (other European or Asian languages are a plus)
