In this mid-level role within G&A (Legal Counsel), you'll draft and review critical contracts from services agreements to employment contracts, provide expert advice to customers and employees, and deliver business-oriented legal solutions. As the go-to expert for all Australian matters and contributor to Australia/New Zealand projects, you'll collaborate with dynamic teams across 100+ countries, speaking 74 languages. This position demands 3-5 years of experience, qualification to practice in Australia, and ideally a strong background in cross-border employment law. Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review contracts ranging from services agreements to employment contracts

  • Provide relevant advice to customers and employees where appropriate

  • Work closely with business colleagues to provide legal solutions that are business-oriented

  • Collaborate with legal colleagues in preparing templates, guides, playbooks, processes and/or manuals

  • Being the point of contact for any Australian related matters the company is involved in

  • Work across various Australia/New Zealand related projects

Key Requirements:

  • Must be geographically based in Australia

  • Qualified to practice in Australia

  • 3-5 years’ experience (in-house experience is not essential), a strong background in cross border employment law matters is ideal

  • You will be proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally

  • You will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • You have good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • You are fluent in English (other European or Asian languages are a plus)
