Job Overview:

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team and help streamline our logistics processes across multiple regions.The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout Deel IT’s global supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, delivery, and distribution of products to customers worldwide. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers. As part of Deel IT’s logistics team, you will help optimize shipping operations, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the seamless flow of customer outbound and returns, and ensure responses are within our internal SLA.

  • Responsible to customer enquiries related to shipping, tracking, delivery in a timely and professional manner.

  • Handling customer complaints and issues related to collections and deliveries.

  • Managing the end to end process for device repairs and warranties.

  • Coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.

  • Preparing shipping documents and labels through carrier software, whilst ensuring local customs compliance regulations are always adhered to.

  • Assisting with organising shipments, both domestic and international.

  • Monitoring shipments to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Liaise with carriers to ensure timely delivery/ customs clearance of shipments.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all shipment documentations.

  • Ensure all customs invoices for international shipments are fully compliant for export and subsequent re-import.

  • Anticipate, identify and resolve problems that could delay the release or movement shipments, ensuring Government/Customs compliance is adhered to at all times.

  • Open investigations/ submit claims with carriers (lost in transit, damage in transit, non-receipt cases etc) and see the process through from start to end.

  • Assist with other tasks/projects assigned by the Global Logistics Manager

About you:

  • Minimum of 4 years in logistics, shipping, import/ export or a related role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to adapt to changes.

  • A strong organiser, efficient worker who is detail orientated and can work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with carrier software is a plus - MS programs, G Suite, Slack, and general computer literacy is essential

  • Knowledge of International Customs laws/regulations and export compliance policies, documentation and processes would be advantageous.

  • Understanding of customs documentation and procedures is essential.
