Summary
As a Manager, Payroll Operations, you’ll lead a team of specialists to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant payroll across multiple entities. You will develop scalable payroll processes, implement operational controls, and serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders and vendors.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a payroll team, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Act as subject matter expert for payroll regulations and process inquiries
Establish and enforce operational procedures and internal controls
Monitor payroll performance data and implement improvements working cross functionally with product, engineering and internal teams
Monitor KPIs and lead initiatives to improve payroll performance
Participate in recruitment and onboarding of the rapidly scaling payroll team
Coordinate training and communication for payroll practices across teams
Maintain strong vendor and authority relationships for timely processing
Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members
Qualifications
5–7+ years of payroll operations experience, including team leadership
Strong knowledge of local and multi-country payroll regulations
Experience driving process improvement and using payroll systems
Experience working cross functionally
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
