The Legal Counsel will primarily focus on legal employment and commercial matters in UK&I. This role will ensure the Company's compliance with local and global regulations, mitigate legal risks, and provide legal support across various business functions.
Responsibilities
Advise senior management on employment and commercial legal matters.
Oversee compliance and risk management strategies.
Guide junior legal professionals and foster team development.
Represent the company in legal proceedings and regulatory discussions.
Draft, review, and negotiate high value contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, customer contracts, and partnership agreements.
Build and maintain relationships with external counsel, regulators, and key stakeholders
Ability in taking autonomous decisions while handling escalations and projects, where requested
Handling complex escalations independently.
Desired Skills & Competencies
8+ years of legal experience with a focus on corporate and employment law.
Proven ability to handle high-pressure legal negotiations.
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional environment is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
