About the Core Solution Design team
Our team focuses on the core architectural and functional foundations of Deel’s native payroll engine. We ensure that our platform provides the best tools, features, and capabilities for a wide range of users — from country build teams and payroll managed services, to customer HR/payroll teams and employees/managers. We design and maintain scalable solutions that accelerate country localization, ensure compliant payrolls, boost operational efficiency, and drive innovation in the world of payroll.

Manage a team of Solution Designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and fostering team growth. The role focuses on people leadership, process improvement, and ensuring consistent delivery standards across the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach Solution Designers.

  • Allocate work across the team and monitor progress.

  • Ensure consistency in requirement documentation and design quality.

  • Act as escalation point for functional design issues.

  • Partner with architects to align team outputs with product strategy.

  • Ensure constant alignment with Engineering, QA and Global teams on cross functional work and processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies.

  • Implement and maintain solution design practices and processes.

  • Ensure technology and AI are leveraged where possible to improve efficiency.

  • Adapt processes to fit the evolving environment.

  • Bring design knowledge into leadership and practice decisions.

Skills and Competencies

  • 6+ years’ experience as a Systems Business Analyst or Solution Designer

  • 3+ years’ experience in people management

  • Experience working with software using .Net framework is required.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
