Account Management Team Lead (French Speaking) - Deliveroo, Manchester

Role Overview

As the Account Management Team Lead for our French-speaking SMB restaurant partners in Manchester, you will play a pivotal role in driving their growth and success on the Deliveroo platform. You'll lead a team of Account Managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they deliver exceptional service and achieve their targets. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days a week in our Manchester office, reporting to the Head of Account Management EU.

  • Morning: Start with a team huddle to review priorities, address challenges, and share successes. Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions with individual Account Managers, focusing on specific areas for improvement, such as contract negotiation or client relationship building.
  • Midday: Analyze team performance data to identify trends, track progress against targets, and pinpoint areas where additional support is needed. Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to refine training materials and programs based on team needs.
  • Afternoon: Participate in recruitment activities, interviewing candidates for open Account Manager positions. Work on performance management, including conducting bi-annual reviews and creating development plans. Address escalated customer complaints and work with other departments to resolve issues.
  • End of Day: Prepare management information reports to keep senior leadership informed of team performance and progress. Participate in project meetings to represent the SMB Account Management team and ensure their needs are met.
