Are you a dynamic and experienced leader with a passion for account management and a strong command of the Italian language? Deliveroo is seeking an Account Management Team Lead to join our team in Manchester. In this role, you will manage a team of Italian-speaking Account Managers, guiding them to success in growing our SMB (small/medium-sized business) restaurant partners. You'll be responsible for coaching your team on commercial best practices, such as contract negotiation, and client-facing strategies, like pitching growth opportunities and building strong relationships. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in our Manchester office, reporting to the Head of Account Management.
As an Account Management Team Lead, your day will be varied and impactful. You'll start by reviewing team performance data, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes. You'll then dedicate time to 1:1 coaching sessions with your team members, focusing on their individual development needs and providing guidance on specific client challenges. You'll also collaborate with other departments, such as Learning and Development, to ensure your team has the resources and training they need to excel. A significant portion of your day will be spent problem-solving complex issues escalated by your team, ensuring our restaurant partners receive outstanding service. Finally, you'll contribute to team meetings and projects, representing the needs of the SMB Account Management team and contributing to the overall success of the department.
