Analytics Engineer at Deliveroo: Powering Data-Driven Decisions

Role Overview

As an Analytics Engineer, you'll be a key player in our data ecosystem. You'll work closely with product engineering teams, data scientists, and other analytics engineers to ensure that data is readily available and easily accessible for analysis. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining SQL data transformation scripts, advising on data modeling strategies, and surfacing intuitive datasets in our BI tool, Looker. You'll also be responsible for optimizing the use of Looker across the business, supporting a large user base with their data discovery and interaction needs.

  • Morning: Start the day by reviewing the performance of your data pipelines and addressing any issues. Collaborate with the data science team on a new data model for predicting customer churn.
