A Day in the Life

As Senior Finance Manager, your day will be varied and challenging, encompassing a range of responsibilities. You will start by reviewing month-end reporting packages for your designated regions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IFRS standards. Collaboration is key, as you'll partner with other financial reporting managers and broader finance teams to ensure timely month-end closing across the entire Group. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining and improving financial controls, ensuring they are both operational and well-documented. You'll also lead local audits, contribute to Group-wide audits, and support regulatory and tax inspections as needed. Providing technical accounting guidance to the team and managing a small team of finance professionals, including performance management, development, and coaching are also important aspects of the role.
