Role Overview

As a Delivery Driver in our Tampa Nuclear Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in the healthcare supply chain by transporting radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical providers. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with early morning starts between 2:00am and 8:00am. Enjoy a competitive $17.00 per hour pay rate plus a $1000 new hire sign-on bonus. Flexibility is key, including on-call rotation (at least one weekday/month, within 30 miles), rotating holidays, and schedule adjustments based on business needs. Drive company vehicles in all weather, day or night, while adhering to strict DOT and radiation safety protocols. Prior delivery experience is a plus, but full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily impact includes:

• Preparing accurate doses, packaging radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, and loading/unloading containers while following prescribed safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Executing prompt deliveries to customer accounts on optimized routes using handheld tablets for scanning, navigation, and order verification.
• Processing returns, verifying shipment labels, preparing receipts, and handling/disposing of waste materials safely.
• Maintaining vehicles in top condition, performing minor roadside repairs, and keeping detailed log books and inspection records.
• Supporting pharmacy operations with general cleaning, biohazard handling, and participation in required trainings like radiation safety, HIPAA, and safe driving.

Technology and Safety Focus

Leverage tools like the Isotrac packaging system and route optimization tablets to ensure efficiency and accuracy. All deliveries prioritize safety, with comprehensive training in contamination testing, dosimetry, and ergonomic practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
