Your work profile:

 The L2 Support Analyst will be responsible for handling escalated database-related issues, performing in-depth SQL query analysis, and supporting data integrity across systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL, database structures, and troubleshooting complex data issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve complex database issues escalated from L1 support.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to support business operations.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring data-related problems.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve backend issues.
• Monitor database performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain documentation for recurring issues, resolutions, and query templates.
• Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Location and way of working:

• Base location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad

• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
• Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SQL support or database administration.
• Proficiency in writing and debugging complex SQL queries (e.g., joins, subqueries, indexing).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL).
