Job Title: Integration Developer – MuleSoft to Spring Boot (Legacy Trade Finance)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6-8 years (Integration and Trade Finance domain expertise required)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Integration Developer who can understand existing MuleSoft integrations and convert them into Spring Boot-based microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of legacy trade finance applications, integration patterns, and modern API development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing MuleSoft integrations and design equivalent solutions using Spring Boot microservices.
• Understand and document integration flows, data mappings, and business logic from legacy systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to ensure functional and technical requirements are met.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable Spring Boot APIs for trade finance workflows.
• Integrate with legacy trade finance applications and external systems using REST/SOAP, MQ, or other protocols.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Optimize performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Provide technical documentation and support for migration and deployment.

Required Skills

• MuleSoft Expertise: Ability to analyze Mule flows, connectors, and integration patterns.
• Spring Boot Development: Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Trade Finance Domain Knowledge: Understanding of products like LC (Letter of Credit), BG (Bank Guarantee), collections, and related workflows.
• Integration Patterns: Experience with API-led connectivity, messaging queues (JMS, MQ), and middleware.
• Database Skills: SQL and relational database design.
• Version Control: Git or similar tools.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in migration projects from MuleSoft to Java-based frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to security standards in financial applications.
