SAP BASIS and SAP BTP Administrator should have :

We are seeking an accomplished SAP BASIS and SAP BTP Administrator with strong expertise across traditional SAP administration and modern SAP Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BTP Administration, SAP AI, SAP Build, and SAP Joule, along with core SAP BASIS knowledge of S/4HANA, SLT, Central Finance, and SAP GRC environments.

This role involves managing a hybrid SAP landscape, ensuring optimal performance, seamless integration, and secure operations across both on-premise and cloud platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives leveraging SAP’s next-generation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP BTP & Cloud Administration

• Administer and manage the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) including subaccounts, entitlements, service instances, and connectivity.
• Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Identity Services, implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect authentication frameworks.
• Manage SAP BTP Advanced Event Mesh for real-time event-driven integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Configure and support SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) for end-to-end process integration and data orchestration.
• Administer SAP Multi-Bank Payment (MBM) setup and connectivity for secure financial transaction processing.
• Configure and maintain SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite for process optimization and governance.
• Implement and manage WalkMe digital adoption solutions within the SAP environment to enhance end-user experience.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across all BTP services and integrations.

SAP AI, SAP Build & Joule

• Implement and manage SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad services for intelligent automation and predictive analytics use cases.
• Support development and deployment of low-code/no-code applications using SAP Build Apps, Build Process Automation, and Build Work Zone.
• Integrate and enable SAP Joule (SAP’s generative AI copilot) for business process insights and intelligent system assistance across SAP modules.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and architects to leverage AI-driven insights for system and process improvements.
• Stay current with SAP’s evolving AI and digital transformation ecosystem, recommending new capabilities for enterprise adoption.

SAP BASIS Administration

• Perform SAP BASIS core activities — installations, upgrades, system copies, transports, client administration, and performance tuning — for S/4HANA, SLT, and Central Finance systems.
• Manage SAP GRC configurations, ensuring proper access control, risk management, and compliance.
• Oversee user and authorization management, background jobs, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with functional, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and compliant system operations.
• Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational standards in alignment with SAP best practices.

Qualifications:

 11+ years of overall experience in SAP administration, with at least 4+ years in SAP BTP administration.

• SAP BASIS for S/4HANA, SLT, Central Finance, and SAP GRC

2.      Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture, security, and integration frameworks.

3.      Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SAP Cloud and on-prem issues efficiently.

4.      Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP certifications in BTP, AI, BASIS, or Cloud Integration.
• Experience with SAP CALM or Solution Manager/Focused Run.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and DevOps pipelines for SAP landscapes.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Qualifications

• Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes.
• Willingness to travel for short and long term durations.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
