SAP FI - 

 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) Consultant with strong expertise in retail industry processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP FI modules, integration with retail systems, and end-to-end implementation/ support exposure. The candidate should be able to work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, and optimize financial processes within a fast-paced retail environment. Candidate should be willing to travel to client office at Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Treasury as applicable.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configuration.
• Design and deliver SAP Finance solutions aligned with retail industry needs such as:
• Store-level financial postings
• Inventory valuation & cost postings
• Vendor funding/ rebates
• Retail-specific pricing 
• Perform configuration, testing (unit, SIT, UAT), and deployment of SAP FI functionalities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as MM, SD, Retail, IS-R, Finance, and CO to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot financial posting issues, and ensure month-end / year-end closing activities run smoothly.
• Develop functional documents (FSDs), configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
• Collaborate with business users to enhance reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
• Support S4HANA implementations and migration activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8 years of hands-on SAP FI experience, preferably in retail domain projects.
• Strong knowledge of FI submodules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.
• Experience with FI-MM, FI-SD, FI-CO integrations and retail-specific interfaces.
• Understanding of retail processes including POS transactions, stock ledger, store operations, credit/debit memo processing, and vendor settlements.
• Exposure to S/4HANA Finance (New GL, Universal Journal) is highly desirable.
• Experience in at least two full lifecycle implementations and multiple support/enhancement projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot finance-related posting issues in retail scenarios.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with business finance, accounting teams, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Science or Engineering - B.Sc ( I.T), B.Sc ( Computer science ) , B.E or B.Tech.
• SAP Certification in FI or S/4HANA Finance.
• Good to have experience with SAP IS-R (Industry Solution for Retail) or similar retail modules.
• Knowledge of Fiori apps, workflows, and automation tools.
