Develop and maintain demand forecasts for business unit customers within the integrated Sales & Operations Planning (i-S&OP) process. Coordinate volumes with supply, commercial, and sales stakeholders.
Lead the forecast enrichment process for promotions and new product developments (NPDs). Analyze links between advertising, seasonal effects, and product demand to refine predictions.
Continuously enhance forecast accuracy using forecasting systems and KPIs at brand, customer, and SKU levels. Ensure demand forecasts align with supply capabilities, identifying and resolving deviations collaboratively.
Actively participate in Business Unit Demand Review (DMR) meetings, adjusting short- and long-term revenue forecasts. Lead BU Demand & Supply Control Meetings and DMR in the team lead's absence.
Create, optimize, and analyze forecast reports using Blue Yonder. Initiate projects like Customer Joint Forecasting and optimize processes such as Sourcing Strategy for supply chain transformation.
To excel as Demand Planner at PepsiCo, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent. At least 4 years of relevant planning experience, ideally in FMCG with knowledge of retail supply chains and German trade structures, is essential. Key traits include strong analytical skills for complex problems, structured and proactive work style, team collaboration, communication strength, initiative, and hands-on mentality.
