As Deputy Chief Accountant in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our local entity. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will step in during their absence and ensure seamless accounting, tax compliance, and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee comprehensive bookkeeping, including full reflection of business transactions, document workflow, and adherence to Kyrgyz Republic accounting legislation.
• Develop and implement accounting policies tailored to the enterprise's structure and operations; authorize contracts and manage fixed assets, services, CDA, and supplier reconciliations.
• Handle tax accounting per the Kyrgyz Tax Code, assist in preparing and submitting declarations, conduct reconciliations with tax authorities, and provide documentation upon request.
• Prepare managerial reports, including adjustments for corporate standards, monthly expense breakdowns, balance sheet analyses, reserves formation, and transfer pricing calculations for exports/imports.
• Ensure effective internal controls per PepsiCo policies: monitor procedures, report risks, support inventory counts, and provide methodological guidance on company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong technical proficiency and personal attributes suited for a fast-paced corporate setting.

• Higher education in accounting or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in 1C Accounting Software version 8.
• Intermediate level of English language skills for communication and reporting.
• Key personal qualities: high responsibility, communicativeness, multitasking ability, stress resistance, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and quick learning aptitude.

Preferred Experience
