Role Overview

The Deputy Manager - General Ledger role in Pune, India, is pivotal in driving global process standardization, transactional efficiency, and expertise in M&A activities within CrowdStrike's dynamic finance operations. Reporting to GL leadership, you'll lead process improvements in Record-to-Report (R2R), ensure month-end closing accuracy, handle account reconciliations, intercompany, and foreign exchange analysis. This full-time, work-from-office position in Kharadi, Pune, operates on a 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST shift, supporting our global operations. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll spearhead initiatives to elevate the General Ledger team's performance:

• Drive process improvements in R2R to deliver business benefits and simplified operations.
• Provide insights on policy changes, ensuring adherence across global teams.
• Identify and monitor continuous improvements, optimizing tools like NetSuite ERP, Blackline, and Coupa.
• Conduct timely root cause analysis for issues, implementing corrections.
• Liaise with Finance Transformation, Treasury, AP, and FP&A for seamless execution.
• Offer expertise in M&A accounting integrations and software implementations.
• Research and interpret data to answer complex accounting queries.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as business needs evolve.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification with 10+ years of experience, including 4+ years in people management.
• Proven track record as a controller or similar, managing teams effectively.
• Strong US GAAP understanding and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated mindset with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and thrive in dynamic settings.
• Detail-oriented problem-solver with creativity, quick thinking, and a positive attitude.
• Experience in month-end closings, reconciliations, intercompany, and FX analysis.
