Role Overview

The Deputy Manager-Sales & Operations role in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a pivotal position within PepsiCo's Foodservice division. As Deputy Manager-Sales & Ops, you will drive operational excellence through the following core responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate contract setup in TPM by reviewing BAM (Business Activity Model) against contracts, resolving discrepancies with contract owners/FSRs, and incorporating tactics, rebates, and FOBO (Franchised Owned Bottling Operations) details.
  • Maintain 3POs (Third-Party Operators) tactics with quarterly BASE setups, weekly performance reports, accrual adjustments, and final payment validations based on net revenue growth and SKU requirements.
  • Manage contract rollovers by checking Volume Thresholds (VTH) or auto-renewal clauses quarterly, attaching backup reports, and creating rollover tactics in TPM.
  • Oversee all payments in TPM, including manual, volume-based (DSD & PDP), and lump-sum types. Pull reports from ERT/PDP systems, format volume data, calculate backups, and route to KAM Manager for approval.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Sales and Finance teams, sending confirmations, reminders, and documentation to ensure seamless processes and compliance.

Daily Operations

Expect to monitor pending payments, request reports from KAMs, adjust accruals 2-3 days before quarter-end, and deny non-qualifying payments while closing tactics appropriately. Documentation and email communications are critical for audit trails.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 4+ years of experience as a mid-level analytics professional, ideally in a leading consumer goods or food & beverage company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
