This junior analyst role focuses on managing complex contract setups, renewals, payments, and analytics for foodservice operations. You will bridge Sales, Finance, and operations teams, ensuring seamless execution of contracts across divisions like HBS West and PBNA. Key areas include TPM (Trade Promotion Management) system handling, rebate calculations, volume threshold verifications, and payment processing for DSD (Direct Store Delivery), PDP, and third-party operators (FOBO). This role demands analytical prowess, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Why This Role Matters

In the competitive food and beverage sector, accurate contract management directly impacts revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. As Deputy Manager, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing funding tactics, ensuring compliance, and driving sales performance through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve a mix of analytical, operational, and collaborative tasks:

  • Review and align contracts with BAM (Business Activity Model), contacting owners/FSRs for discrepancies and setting up in TPM with Finance approvals.
  • Estimate annual rebate payments for DSD & PDP per sales location, incorporating FOBO portions and OTS funding.
  • Manage 3PO/FOBO tactics with quarterly BASE setups, weekly performance reports, accrual adjustments, and final payment validations based on net revenue and SKU requirements.
  • Handle contract rollovers by checking VTH clauses, attaching backup reports, and creating new tactics in TPM.
  • Monitor pending payments, validate volumes via ERT/PDP reports, calculate backups, and process manual/volume-based payments through Hub, ensuring KAM approvals.
  • Build relationships with division teams, Sales (KAM/FSRs), and Finance SMEs to streamline processes and adapt to divisional variations.

Operational Excellence

Expect to send confirmation emails, maintain documentation, and issue reminders for timely completions, denying invalid payments and closing tactics as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need:

  • 3-4+ years as a mid-level analytics professional, ideally in consumer goods or food & beverage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel for reporting and calculations.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP and Oracle platforms.
  • Analytical mindset, proactiveness, flexibility, and excellent relationship-building skills.
