Job Description

Description

  • Responsible for translating internal client needs into a formal integration specification.
  • Integration expertise should be based on abstract principles, independent of any specific underlying technology.
  • Govern and maintain EDP's Global Integration Architecture, covering a wide range of types (APIs, Web Services, Events, ETL, Batch, Files, Data, etc.).
  • Design and develop technical architecture for integration solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
  • Maintain integration design documentation and technical specifications.
  • Define and document integration patterns and best practices.
  • Assist in the specification of integration test plans and scenarios.
  • Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work, including detailed technical specifications and application code.
  • Be proactive, independent, and enthusiastic.
  • Be results and delivery-driven, taking ownership and accountability for all work and responsibilities.
  • Be critical, imaginative, and willing to challenge the "Status Quo."

Qualifications

  • Up to 15 years of experience in the role
  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
  • Capacity for critical analysis and focused on problem-solving
  • Commitment to quality of deliverables
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools (valued/a plus)
  • Experience in strategic projects
  • English (mandatory), Portuguese (mandatory), Spanish (valued/a plus)
  • Deep knowledge of the various types of integration platforms, as well as integration patterns, and new market trends
