Description

• Analysis of functional requirements with an impact on the reference architecture
• Monitoring of products and applications
• Participation in Agile ceremonies
• Development of solution designs from an architecture point of view
• Proposing changes to the reference architecture when it is not applicable or a more suitable solution is identified
• Documentation of application architecture and integration processes
• Mapping functional requirements to technical requirements to support development teams
• Participation in team knowledge-sharing meetings
• Documentation, presentation, and defense of logical architecture solution designs with high impacts on the architecture, to stakeholders
• Identification of the need to create new applications or microservices
• Design and specification of APIs
• Documentation of logical architecture solution designs with simple and medium impacts on the architecture
• Design and specification of APIs (reiterated)

Qualifications

• Up to 15 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
• Critical analysis and problem-solving focus
• Commitment to quality of deliverables
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR
• Knowledge of the Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools (valued)
• Experience in strategic projects
• English (mandatory), Portuguese (mandatory), Spanish (valued)
• Any architecture certification (MS, Cloud, etc.)
• Ability to critically analyze business requirements, framing them within EDP's reference application architecture
• Consolidated knowledge of the various types of architecture artifacts and adoption of new market trends, such as microservices
• Focus on clear architecture documentation
• Definition and monitoring of Governance rules
• Communication and contribution regarding the evolution of security rules, as well as the defined application and technological architecture
• Autonomous persuasion ability in the adoption of architecture rules in complex contexts

Soft skills: 

• Very good communication, argumentation, and persuasion skills
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented individual
• Ease of adaptation to various technological contexts in short periods of time
• Enjoyment of teamwork and knowledge sharing
• Interest and motivation to work in a challenging environment

Hard skills:

• Proven experience with system integration concepts
• Ability to analyze and design APIs
• Experience in integration with SaaS products is a plus
• Experience with Microservices concepts in Cloud
• Ability to design and develop documentation
