Description

We are seeking skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join a nearshore team working on a high-impact project for a German client. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate in an international environment with a modern tech stack, delivering robust, automated testing solutions.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Implement and execute functional, integration, and API tests.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes to integrate testing at every stage of development.
  • Analyse and report bugs, providing clear documentation and test evidence.
  • Work with data formats such as Excel and CSV for test input/output.
  • Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with Playwright, especially in conjunction with TypeScript, is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of modern test automation principles and experience with building or extending frameworks.
  • Practical experience working within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps is beneficial.
  • Competence in designing and automating API tests is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases is useful, particularly in test data setup, validation, and query-based verification during automated or manual testing.
  • An understanding of Ktor, the Kotlin-based backend framework, is advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency in handling Excel and CSV files is expected.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
