As a Sales Manager at Devoteam, you will be a pivotal force in driving our commercial success, leveraging your strong business consulting acumen and deep IT market knowledge to identify, secure, and grow strategic client partnerships within the IT consultancy space, with a preference for experience in the Financial Services industry. You will be responsible for exceeding ambitious sales targets by expertly navigating complex sales cycles, articulating compelling digital transformation solutions (across Cloud, Data & AI, Cybersecurity, etc.) to C-level executives, and fostering long-term relationships that expand Devoteam's footprint and revenue in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

This pivotal role is for who can blend deep market insight with a relentless drive to cultivate impactful client relationships and secure significant revenue. You will be instrumental in:

  • Achieving & Exceeding Sales Targets: Take full ownership of your sales quota, developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to identify, qualify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within your assigned market or accounts.

  • New Business Acquisition: Actively prospect and engage with potential clients, building a robust sales pipeline. You'll be the primary driver in winning new logos and introducing Devoteam's capabilities to untapped markets.

  • Solution Selling & Value Articulation: Master the art of consultative selling. You'll deeply understand client business challenges, map them to Devoteam's specialized IT solutions, and articulate compelling value propositions that resonate at the C-level.

  • Strategic Account Development: While focused on new business, you'll also strategically identify and pursue expansion opportunities within key accounts, nurturing relationships to maximize long-term revenue streams.

  • Leading Winning Engagements: Orchestrate the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and contract closure. You'll lead proposal development, prepare and deliver impactful presentations, and coordinate seamlessly with pre-sales and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay acutely aware of market trends, competitive landscapes, and client-specific business drivers to inform your sales approach and identify emerging revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of direct sales experience in IT consulting, technology solutions, or professional services, with a clear track record of consistently meeting or exceeding demanding sales quotas.

  • Strong Business Consulting Acumen: Proven ability to analyze complex business problems, translate client needs into strategic IT solutions, and articulate clear value propositions that align with business outcomes.

  • Deep IT Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of current and emerging trends in the IT landscape (e.g., Cloud strategies, Data & AI adoption, Cybersecurity regulations, DevOps methodologies), and how these impact various industries.

  • Experience in the Energy and Resources Industry is highly preferred, demonstrating an understanding of its unique business processes, operational challenges, and technology needs.

  • Proven success in new business acquisition and expanding client accounts in complex enterprise environments.

  • Exceptional ability to build and sustain C-level relationships, demonstrating strong executive presence, negotiation, and influencing skills.

  • Strong strategic selling abilities, with experience managing long and complex sales cycles.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is essential for our international client base and multicultural teams. Proficiency in Portuguese is a valuable asset.

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills, with a relentless drive to achieve commercial outcomes.
