Role Overview

The Director, Assistant General Counsel, SEA&I & Supply Chain, is a pivotal leadership role based in South, Singapore. Reporting to the VP, APLA Counsel, with a dotted line to the Senior Director in Beaverton, this position provides legal leadership for Nike's dynamic SEA&I and Supply Chain businesses. You'll partner with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and global legal colleagues in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, leading the SEA&I legal team and setting strategic direction. Expect to:

• Lead and manage the SEA&I legal team in Singapore, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide expert legal support for distributor, wholesaler, and partner relationships across SEA&I, covering sales, marketing, and route-to-market arrangements.
• Advise on sales programs, incentives, promotions, pricing structures, and commercial terms affecting consumers and partners.
• Negotiate and support sales, distribution, and commercialization agreements, including amendments, renewals, terminations, and dispute resolution.
• Guide manufacturing teams on innovations from seed to scale and sustainable, compliant supply chain practices.
• Develop and implement legal policies, standards, templates, and negotiation playbooks.
• Deliver training programs to enhance business outcomes and risk management.
• Drive process improvements, adopting new technologies and self-service solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Nike seeks a collaborative leader with exceptional legal acumen. Required qualifications include:

• Juris Doctor degree or international equivalent; licensed to practice law in Singapore and/or another jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department; multinational experience strongly preferred.
• Substantive experience in commercial, consumer, digital commerce, advertising, sales, distribution, and marketing of consumer goods in SEA&I, including distributor agreements.
• Subject matter expertise in manufacturing, antitrust, supply chains, procurement, renewable energy, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage strategic transactions.
• Plus: Experience in sports marketing, labor law, corporate governance, or competition law.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
