As Director, Direct-to-Patient (DTP) Marketing at Gilead Sciences, you will champion the launch of a novel HIV therapy combining bictegravir and lenacapavir. Reporting to the Senior Director of DTP Marketing, this role is pivotal in crafting innovative strategies that empower patients living with HIV. Support the creation of DTP strategy, launch planning, and annual patient marketing tactical plans. Contribute to the broader HIV portfolio strategy with insights on go-to-market approaches and cross-brand synergies.
Develop targeted patient marketing campaigns and media plans across print, digital, social media, out-of-home, point-of-care, and television channels. Identify opportunities to pilot new ideas for engaging people living with HIV.
Generate and utilize market research insights to refine promotional strategies. Define and track marketing KPIs, using data for continuous improvement and performance optimization.
Create culturally competent materials, collaborating with community partners and cross-functional teams. Manage agency relationships and budgets while working with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical Affairs to ensure compliance.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of marketing experience, or a Master’s degree or PhD with at least 10 years. Preferred candidates hold an MBA with 10+ years in pharma or biotech marketing. Key expertise encompasses integrated multi-channel campaigns, patient activation, cross-functional execution, pharmaceutical regulations, and agency management. Strong communication skills and budget oversight are essential.
