As Director, HCP Non-Personal Promotion Marketing at Gilead Sciences, you will report to the Senior Director, HIV Treatment Marketing and lead strategies for a market-leading blockbuster HIV brand. This role focuses on driving continued market leadership seven years post-launch while supporting the growth of Gilead's broadening HIV treatment portfolio. You will spearhead bold, creative digital and omnichannel campaigns to educate healthcare professionals (HCPs), optimize promotional effectiveness, and leverage cutting-edge technologies for individualized customer strategies. This position is ideal for passionate marketers thriving in dynamic environments, ready to redefine HCP marketing in biopharma.
In this pivotal role, you will develop the non-personal promotion (NPP) omnichannel plan of action (POA) in partnership with the HCP promotional team, balancing the needs of the broader HIV treatment portfolio. Responsibilities include overseeing the execution of a comprehensive NPP strategy, partnering with global and internal stakeholders to innovate omnichannel and content creation capabilities, and providing expertise on integrating novel technologies for personalized promotional execution. You will collaborate with analytics and agency partners to evaluate performance insights, optimize tactics, and lead key elements of the promotional brand strategy aligned with the overall campaign. Additional duties involve managing external agencies and cross-functional partners, implementing HCP promotional communication strategies, securing approvals through the Promotional Review Committee (PRC), analyzing brand opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing budgets and timelines.
Drive execution through field sales partnerships and work cross-functionally with Digital Strategy & Operations, Marketing Analytics, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and other stakeholders to propel HIV treatment objectives.
Success in this role requires a proven track record of successful pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with launch experience preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to leverage market insights from diverse sources, including market research, advisory boards, and field force input, to identify needs and opportunities. Expertise in marketing strategy, sales, and regulatory policies is essential, along with the ability to conceive, develop, and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans. Strong execution skills for complex initiatives requiring tactful cross-functional collaboration are critical. A deep understanding of omnichannel promotion, digital innovation, and compliance in the biopharma sector will set you apart.
