Key Responsibilities at MongoDB

• Lead the Identity & Security Product Management team responsible for delivering Identity and Access Management, Queryable Encryption, and customer-facing security features within the MongoDB platform.
• Drive highly regulated customer platform security and compliance requirements into MongoDB products.
• Foster collaboration across Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Leadership Team.
• Drive a strategic narrative with customers and industry thought leaders around database security and identity.
• Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date roadmaps across ownership areas in partnership with Engineering.
• Develop strategic recommendations to improve customers’ security posture and compliance; evangelize at conferences.
• Deeply understand all aspects of MongoDB Atlas to align with broader product, customer, and company priorities.
• Define security go-to-market strategies, identify trends, and execute programs with global sales leadership.
• Drive decision-making on prioritization, solutions, functionality, and pricing for security features.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as Director of Identity & Security Product Management at MongoDB, bring:

• 7+ years managing teams with leadership skills uniting diverse viewpoints and driving strategic agendas.
• 10+ years Product/Engineering Security experience with enterprise technologies.
• Excellent communication for executive audiences and global customers.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security, or equivalents.
• Hands-on with IAM, database security, cloud-native microservices.
• Expertise in IT security, risk management, and transforming on-prem to cloud security.
• Technical depth in MongoDB, AWS, Azure, Okta, DLP, Jira, Aha.
