Position Overview

Siemens EDA seeks a highly motivated, creative, and energetic leader as Product Validation (PV) Director for the digital implementation and analysis products. This Noida-based role collaborates with teams across India and internationally, defining the overall validation strategy and ensuring technical rigor across product lines. You will provide leadership that aligns cross-functional teams, strengthens best practices across the business unit, and elevates the perception of quality for both our field and our customers.

As a Product Validation Director, you will lead the product-level PV teams and drive execution excellence. Your focus will be to improve validation velocity, enhance test quality, and increase team efficiency, while applying proven practices across related product families. You will oversee day-to-day validation planning, ensure effective coverage across complex design flows, and guide teams in adopting modern validation methodologies and automation strategies. Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall product validation strategy across digital implementation and analysis product lines
• Lead, mentor, and grow product-level PV teams to deliver high-quality, technically rigorous validation.
• Oversee day-to-day validation planning, coverage, prioritization, and execution for complex EDA design flows.
• Improve validation velocity, test quality, and team efficiency through process optimization and effective/efficient resource management.
• Implement and scale modern validation methodologies, automation frameworks, and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, product management, product engineering, and field teams to ensure alignment on requirements, releases, and customer expectations.
• Establish, refine, and drive best practices across the business unit to elevate product quality and consistency.
• Monitor quality metrics and root-cause trends to proactively guide improvements in both products and processes.
• Champion cross-team communication and decision-making to support predictable, high-confidence product releases.
• Strengthen the perception of quality among customers and field organizations through disciplined engineering and robust validation processes.

Job Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience form semiconductor or electronic design automation (EDA) industry
• BS degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field, MS degree preferred
• Experience in product engineering or product validation for digital implementation and signoff
• Expert level, hands-on knowledge of digital implementation and analysis design tools and flows
• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and building high-performing organizations.
• Proven ability to coordinate and drive programs and projects successfully across multiple distributed cross functional teams
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain product value propositions, competitive advantages, and roadmaps to technical audiences as well as executives/management
