The Director, Regional Revenue Accounting (Remote, GBR) is a pivotal finance leadership role at CrowdStrike. This position establishes a globally consistent, collaborative revenue accounting support function, serving as a one-stop shop for sales, deal desk, and finance teams across regions including Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You'll drive scalable growth, mitigate risk, and ensure transparent, accurate financial reporting under ASC 606. As a strategic business partner to Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Revenue Accounting, you'll provide regional contract support, technical accounting guidance, finance analytics, and escalation management. This individual contributor/leader role heads a lean elite team, collaborating under Global Revenue Accounting leadership in our remote-first environment.
Ensure deep understanding of revenue recognition policies, including the Falcon Flex program and go-to-market initiatives. Act as gatekeeper for company policies, delivering real-time guidance on ASC 606 compliance.
Review non-standard terms, collaborate with Legal, and support sales in structuring compliant, profitable deals tailored to regional needs while maintaining global consistency.
Provide analytics support with insights on deal performance metrics like NPACV and ARR. Develop and maintain regional dashboards to empower sales teams.
Assist during month-end close with recon reviews, operational needs, and SOX compliance key controls execution.
Bridge global policies with regional practices through training, playbook maintenance, best practice sharing, and clear escalation pathways. Track key metrics like accuracy, timeliness (≥99% SLA), consistency, and stakeholder feedback.
To succeed, you'll need a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred), plus 10+ years in technical accounting, revenue recognition, or audit within the SaaS/technology industry. Deep expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS contract structures is essential, alongside proven partnership with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and FP&A teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are key to translating complex guidance into actionable advice.
