Role Overview

As Director Warehouse Operations at Cardinal Health's Edison, NJ facility, you'll lead day-to-day operations for a high-volume medical distribution center. This pivotal role carries full financial and operational accountability, including direct oversight of 60+ distribution employees and dotted-line responsibility for a Penske-managed private fleet of 21 drivers and 1 supervisor. Key Responsibilities

• Manage total pipeline logistics, including inbound/outbound operations, quality inventory control, EHS, QRA, SOX compliance, transportation, and facility maintenance.
• Drive supervisory and employee development through training, coaching, performance appraisals, and fostering engagement to boost VOE scores.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, adhere to budgets, achieve DC objectives, and own the site P&L while preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, implement programs for production efficiency, and optimize space utilization.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, act as a strategic partner, and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate on national projects, host internal/external teams, and innovate operations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as Director Warehouse Operations, bring a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, coupled with proven leadership in warehouse or supply chain operations across industries—FDA-regulated experience preferred. Key traits include:

• Strong team leadership, motivation, and development skills in dynamic environments.
• Expertise in budgeting, cost control, P&L management, and analytical decision-making.
• Deep knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, SOX).

• Ability to manage diverse teams, multitask priorities, and drive accountability.
