Key Responsibilities

As Director, WMS Platform, your responsibilities span platform strategy, development, operations, and quality assurance. Key duties include:

  • Defining the platform vision, roadmap, and operating model to support business operations and large-scale project delivery.
  • Establishing governance frameworks for architecture, integration, data, security, and change management.
  • Managing relationships with Blue Yonder, including license oversight and performance KPIs.
  • Leading technical estimations, risk assessments, and converting functional specs into reusable technical designs and components.
  • Owning code/configuration repositories, CI/CD pipelines, environment topologies, and security standards.
  • Building observability tools, automated testing suites, and L3 incident management processes.
  • Ensuring platform reliability through runbooks, disaster recovery, and SLA adherence.

Technical Leadership

You will standardize DevSecOps practices, including trunk-based development, GitFlow, data masking, and cloud architecture for SaaS integrations, directly influencing PepsiCo's supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate executive-level expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in enterprise platform engineering, with proven leadership of Blue Yonder WMS in complex, multi-site SaaS environments.
  • Deep knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps/DevSecOps, quality automation, observability stacks (APM, logs, metrics), and SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets).
  • Experience with environment strategies, sandbox management, performance testing, and leading major programs with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team building, decision-making, analytical prowess, and stakeholder communication.
