In this senior-level role, you'll independently own strategic compliance programs, ensuring Discord remains audit-ready and ahead of regulatory curves. Reporting to the Product & Platform Compliance Lead, you'll drive large-scale implementations, build scalable infrastructure, and partner cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Engineering, Policy, and Trust & Safety teams. Key Responsibilities

• Own Legal Safety Data Programs: Build scalable measurement frameworks for global transparency reporting across jurisdictions, tracking key metrics that demonstrate Discord's compliance posture.
• Lead Compliance Audits: Direct annual audit programs, scaling capabilities for frameworks like EU DSA and UK OSA, while contributing to our GRC library and controls.
• Optimize Infrastructure: Develop processes and frameworks supporting Regulatory Compliance operations as Discord expands globally.
• Drive Implementation Projects: Independently manage 6-9+ month projects, defining scope, solutions, and navigating dependencies in dynamic environments.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as primary compliance liaison with executive leadership across Legal, Engineering, Product, Policy, and Trust & Safety.
• Provide Expertise & Mentorship: Offer technical guidance on audits, metrics, program management, and strategy to team members and partners.
• Risk Framework Architecture: Design scalable risk assessments adaptable to new regimes.
• Crisis Coordination: Lead responses to urgent regulatory issues.
• Horizon Scanning: Anticipate regulations 12-24 months ahead through strategic analysis.

Salary & Benefits
