Key Responsibilities

• Define and guide the product philosophy, vision, and multi-year roadmap for payments architecture, integrations, and user experiences to support all Discord businesses efficiently.
• Lead end-to-end cross-functional execution involving engineering, data science, design, marketing, and partnerships to iteratively improve the payments platform amid rapid business scaling.
• Collaborate closely with risk, legal, policy, safety, and accounting teams to build secure, compliant systems that protect users and partners without compromising innovation.
• Own and drive company-wide KPIs including payment conversion rates, authorization success rates, and processing cost optimization through data-driven decisions.
• Communicate complex roadmaps, experiment results, priorities, and strategic decisions to diverse audiences, from IC engineers to C-suite executives and external PSP partners.
• Evolve Discord's in-app monetization ecosystem, ensuring cohesive experiences across Nitro subscriptions, server Boosting, Shop purchases, and emerging Ads products.

Qualifications

To succeed as Staff Product Manager, Payments at Discord, you'll need proven expertise in consumer payments at scale:

• 7+ years in product management, shipping software with emphasis on monetization infrastructure like wallets, billing, and tokenization.
