The Associate Director, Tax Data Management, and Innovation (TDMI) will play a crucial role in reviewing and enhancing the company's tax data, technology infrastructure, and operations. This role will oversee the tax-related master data for the various legal entity management systems utilized by global tax (Triton, Common Entities, Legal Entity Manager, International Tax Calculator, etc.). This role will be responsible for creating and providing up-to-date legal entity organizational charts globally as needed for audits, etc., and ensuring all related controls are executed.
This role will also oversee the recently implemented stock basis tool and the annual update process. They will need to leverage subject matter expertise in Tax transaction support, US federal, and US international teams. These computations will support transactions and reorganizations.
This role will also be responsible for managing the tax aspects on intercompany reporting as needed for tax reporting and will support the tax technology aspects (data load and transformation) of Country-by-Country and Pillar Two reporting.
They oversee implementations of various tax-related software applications, including ONESOURCE Dataflow, WorkFront, Alteryx Workflows, Power Bi Dashboards, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
The Associate Director will lead or assist with various automation efforts and global tax transformation projects within TDMI and Corporate Tax. They will be the India site leader for Disney’s Tax Operations group and will directly and indirectly manage employees and contractors.
The Associate Director will work closely with other tax groups and other departments within the company and with co-sourcing partners, including finance and IT, to ensure that TDMI is tightly integrated with finance optimization initiatives.
