To help create that legendary Disney magic for our Guests and customers. Our Facilities and Operations Team provides the vital space, equipment, and infrastructure to build a collaborative environment for the design teams to dream, design, and create.
The Facilities Assistant - Project Hire/Internal Assignment will report to the Sr. Manager - Facilities & Operations.
This is a Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.
What You Will Do:
Oversee and maintain the front reception area, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for visitors and Cast Members
Serve as the primary liaison for WDI office Cast Members, facilitating effective communication and support
Manage front desk operations, including promptly answering and directing main phone lines and responding courteously to inquiries from Cast Members, guests, interviewees, and vendors
Efficiently sort and distribute incoming mail
Coordinate and schedule conference room bookings, preparing rooms as required
Assist with sample retention, distribution, and destruction processes
Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of office supplies and miscellaneous equipment for the WDI/DCP location(s)
Oversee building security protocols for WDI/DCP locations, including Cast Member access and clearance policies, as well as office lock and key management
Submit and track maintenance and custodial service requests
Assist with space planning updates at WDI/DCP locations as needed
Other administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
2 years or more professional experience in a support or service role in office management
Ability to work independently
Passion for customer service
Experience with MS TEAMS, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Highly organized and efficient
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong initiative
Valid Driver’s License
Being able to lift 50 lbs
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
