About the role

The Programming and Content Curation Intern will support the team in content planning for merchandising and curation across for Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar services.  The role is vital in terms of providing support to the team to ensure subscribers engagement through content discovery and time spent viewing, critical to supporting broader business KPIs of subscriber retention and customer lifetime value. The role will become one of the super-users in the use of Disney+ / Disney+ Hotstar planning tools.

This role is based in Singapore and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of operational content workflows locally and manage Content Management System related processes with a focus to drive efficiency and timely execution of content plans.

This role will report to the Manager, APAC Programming and Content Curation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Programming market leads to strategies and plan content catalogue for migration of Hotstar services to DSS platform.

  • Collaborate with local and global PMO, Product and Operations teams to align migration timelines and work efficiently towards managing set timelines for smooth migration process.

  • Proactively engage with relevant stakeholders within the region as well as global, making sure the necessary resources are in place for any roadblocks that may hinder migration process.

  • Ability to adapt to systems and tools such as DSS CMS and other planning and scheduling tools to assist Disney+ Hotstar content programming team with migration of content over to DSS with accuracy to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.

  • Liaise with the team for internal content QC checks and call out any anomalies.

  • Facilitate clear and efficient verbal and written communications between teams across the board.

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree

  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period

  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between May to August 2026

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Strategic thinker with good communications skills and creative mindset.

  • Results-oriented
