Job Description

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance and project-related issues, including QA/QC for in-house and outsourced corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as project management of building and architectural elements (e.g., building structure, civil engineering, paints, graphics, signage, props, drapery) to meet safety, functionality, and show-quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance databases in computer-aided systems (e.g., Maximo, FCS, Business Objects) and compile strategic reports to improve asset reliability and long-term maintenance efficiency.
  • Organize and manage maintenance projects to ensure smooth operations across the resort.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and manage in-house technicians and contractors for all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
  • Assist in conducting condition surveys and analysis for project planning and budget estimation.
  • Maintain accurate records for maintenance and projects (e.g., material logs, as-built drawings, labor records).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support seasonal events, development projects, and rehabilitation/enhancement initiatives.
  • Plan, source, procure, and control spare materials and consumables.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) trainer to develop and update operational and technical training materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Building Survey, Building Studies, Civil Engineering, Fine Arts, Facility Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; candidates with less experience may be considered for the Associate Engineer position.
  • Knowledge of construction and occupational safety standards and statutory requirements for maintenance and construction projects.
  • Technical expertise in materials and processes to support sustainable development.
  • Strong technical knowledge with solid experience in quality control and maintenance practices.
  • Proven background in project administration and documentation.
  • Familiarity with the Minor Works Control System under the Buildings Department.
  • Willingness to attend emergency calls or duties outside normal working hours.
